Creative Harborough wants to make it easy for people to access creativity in our town whether it be as a performer or spectator, so with the support of Market Harborough District Council and Market Harborough and The Bowdens Charity, we have set up a spot under the Old Grammar School, right in the middle of town, which welcomes buskers.
You have access to a space, power and PPL PRS licensing is covered - all you need to do is join our network and bring your creativity!
Busking is music, dance, street theatre, performance or art offered live within designated areas in the town for the purposes of entertaining, interacting with members of the public, and receiving voluntary contributions.
Please note this initiative is different to applying for a festival or large scale event. To apply for an event in the market hall or square see https://www.harborough.gov.uk/event-toolkit/
If you wish to entertain/busk in this spot you will need to return a completed application form and confirmation that you agree to our code of conduct to Joe@creativeharborough.org and he will contact you to get you booked in.
